APSCI PRIZE / TRAVEL GRANT

 APSCI Prize (To be presented during the Congress Dinner on November 10, 2023)

The APSCI 2023 Seoul will present APSCI Prizes on papers of groundbreaking researches in the field of Cochlear Implant and Related Sciences. A total of six APSCI Prize winners will be awarded with a prize money of KRW 1,000,000 each: three papers are selected from the basic study and three papers from the clinical study.

A. How to Apply?

Step 1. The applicant must submit an ABSTRACT for an ORAL PRESENTATION at the symposium website.
The abstract must be original and have not been published at the time of abstract submission.
Step 2. At the bottom of the abstract submission page, check the box ‘I apply for APSCI Prize.’
Step 3. The applicant must register for APSCI 2023 Seoul with full payment.

B. Award Presentation

  • The APSCI 2023 Scientific Committee will make a preliminary assessment on the abstracts applied for APSCI Prize,
    and the final nominees will be invited to present at the APSCI Prize Session for the final evaluation.
  • A total of six APSCI Prizes will be awarded to the PRESENTING AUTHORS of the select papers:
    three winners from the basic study and three winners from the clinical study.
  • Each winner will receive a monetary prize of KRW 1,000,000 during the Congress Dinner on November 10, 2023.

 Travel Grant (to be presented during the Closing Ceremony on November 11, 2023)

We are awarding Travel Grant to excellent young colleagues who need financial assistance to attend APSCI 2023 Seoul and present their outstanding work as an oral or poster presentation. Please read the following instruction on how to apply and submit required documents by abstract submission deadline.

A. Who Can Apply?

1 ) The applicant must be under 45 years old as of November 8, 2023.

2 ) The applicant must be based in an Emerging Country designated by APSCI 2023.

3 ) The applicant must submit an abstract for the symposium at the symposium website and contribute with an oral or poster presentation.

Please carefully follow all steps below:

Step 1. Submit your abstract at the symposium website.
Step 2. At the bottom of the abstract submission page, check the box “I apply for Travel Grant.’
Step 3. Upload all 3 prerequisite documents below.
  • 1 ) Curriculum vitae (PDF file, less than 4 pages)
  • 2 ) Copy of your passport
  • 3 ) Endorsement letter from the chair, professor or supervisor of your affiliation or department
    (You must use the APSCI 2023 Endorsement Letter format. Please download it here.)
Step 4. Must register for APSCI 2023 Seoul with full payment.

Participants are encouraged to apply for both APSCI Prize and Travel Grant, and successful applicants will be awarded only ONE of these two funding.
